Why the poor don’t support left so much?

Are they stupid, religious or too nationalist? I don’t think none of them is reason. Most poor people are rational. They don’t support left except identity politics. They don’t buy those charitable, helpful, benevolent somehow rich people’s promises. I know the left try to tranfer money from one poor man to another as if they are helping the poor. But believe none of them are not so helpful when it comes to their money. They are very possionate when it comes to confiscate someone elses money
