Tell me how you would prefer education to be handled? (Especially if you have/had elementary age children).
I’m a libertarian obviously. But I do get hung up on how education should work (I’m in the US, but if you’re not feel free to answer as well!!).
There is a great deal of things I do not like about public education in this country. Specific curriculum. The one for all idea when it comes to punishment (one child misbehaves, the entire class loses recess minutes). I having to provide a “legal excuse” for my child to miss a day here and there.
But there’s also some things that I do agree with, such as education (even the most basic of it) should be available to all regardless of income, social status, the like. Could private schooling ever actually be attainable for all children in this country?
Basically, what would be the ideal way to educate the children be in your opinion?
