In a globalized economy where corporate conglomerates own everything—making consumer boycotts essentially impossible—how is the market supposed to regulate itself?
Take Nestle, for example. Nestle is an objectively malevolent company. But it is essentially impossible for any consumer with conscience to avoid purchasing Nestle products, especially if the have a baby or a pet. Giant corporations are so diversified that they cannot be stopped by consumers “voting with their dollars”, can they?
What is the libertarian solution to this problem?
