Transphobia?
I was banned from the meme sub for pointing out transphobia coming from the comment section of other ‘libertarians’. Another person reached out to me and was banned for similar reasons under the justification it’s “anti-liberty”. So, I wanted to hear from other libertarians how they felt about transphobia in general. I understand some people don’t ‘agree’ with transgender people existing, but I feel as libertarians it’s still up to us to let people be happy and not bother them as long as it’s not violating the NAP, and people can’t really call themself ‘pro-liberty’ if they agree with harassing a lgbtq person who’s minding their own. So, thoughts? (Btw the post I commented on was a meme about a trans celebrity, which I didn’t have a problem with. The thing that caught my attention was the comments.) submitted by /u/kngzi |
