Where we’re going, we don’t need roads…
This one always amuses me, the overuse of roads is a problem brought to us by the new deal, followed by the interstate highway program in the 50s. “How do you pay for roads without the government?!?” The answer is you don’t! You build railways and trams and walkable cities because they are cheaper! More efficient! Better for business! Better for people! You only build expensive to maintain space consuming roads where you absolutely have to.
