Half of the time I can’t tell if this sub is being brigaded, or if there is a fundamental lack of understanding of what libertarianism is amount members
i try really hard to make sure i don’t “gatekeep”. but i feel like this sub i just a battleground for the democrats and republicans to argue with each other.
half of the sub supports taking away body autonomy for a vaccine with a proven long term efficacy of less than 50%, and the other half refuses to get it out of political spite.
i think it’s time to recognize that both things are true:
•mandating medical decisions is government overreach
•the vaccine is an important, albeit not perfect, tool to combat a global pandemic.
if i wanted to watch the blue team argue with the red team, i’d sub to r/politics. it took a while but i can now see why this sub is seen as a joke in all the other libertarian subs.
