I don’t understand the argument for shaming anti-maskers or anti-vaxxers for their personal choices. “Some people have pre-existing conditions and poor physical/medical health, so you’re directly endangering them”.
But they didn’t endanger themselves, by practicing poor health, (going to McDonalds and the dispensary, but not the gym), and therefore also play a part in amplifying their pre-existing conditions? Interesting. So when there’s a public health crisis, its my job to lower my medical standards, not for others to raise theirs.
People are aware that “pre-existing conditions” are worsened and exacerbated by poor physical/medical health, right? And that the majority of these “pre-existing conditions” could be mostly if not entirely prevented by practicing better personal health, right?
People are also aware that pre-existing conditions and poor personal health makes ANY infection or disease more dangerous, right? This phenomenon isn’t specific to COVID. This is just a result of not taking care of your overall personal health, or a person being ill-equipped for any virus.
