I have a question for Libertarians
I am myself a libertarian but there is a question that has been asked to me and I couldn’t answer. So I was debating with a friend of mine and he told me that Libertarians advocate for a tyranny by the rich corporations. I told him that in a free market capitalist society we could simply boycott corporations that try such things. He told me then: « How did the British corporations during the industrial revolution exploited their workers and became powerful that now entire families control the world, why couldn’t they simply not boycott then and why don’t we boycott them now? ». I couldn’t answer. Anyone has an answer ? submitted by /u/-MBerrada- [link] [comments]
