Check out comrademilei, a sub highlighting how Javier Milei isn’t actually libertarian
I created this sub because, like many Argentines, I believed his promise of a libertarian/classical liberal government. It’s truly remarkable how his administration has turned out to be the complete opposite: He has raised nearly every tax imaginable. He has increased funding in areas that interest him, like the intelligence agency. He has an army of online trolls a la CCP’s 50 Cent Party He nominated Ariel Lijo, the most corrupt judge in the country, as his Supreme Court candidate; Lijo is a close ally of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, the ultimate Argentine commie. He has maintained currency controls with no plans to remove them. He shows little regard for freedom of speech, often encouraging his followers to harass journalists. He is restricting access to information laws. And the list goes on. I am posting translated news articles about these issues & encourage anyone to participate. submitted by /u/msvalkyr [link] [comments]
