Project 2025: Heritage Foundation Blueprint for President Trump
Project 2025 is a proposal written by various authors within the Heritage Foundation as a blueprint for how a Trump presidency might radically alter our current government. Progressive democrats and rhinos hate the proposal, so I thought it might be worth a read.
While I agree it is a radical proposal, sometimes radical is a necessary solution.
According to Wikipedia, this is their interpretation: “Critics of Project 2025 have described this as an Authoritarian, Christian Nationalist plan to turn the United States into an autocracy”. So, of course, I liked it.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Dismantle the FBI, Department of Commerce, Department of Education, Department of Homeland Security, Federal Trade Commission, Federal Communications Commission, termination DEI programs, reduce funding for DOJ and NIH, criminalize porn, and institute tax cuts. Just horrible… In other words it returns life to The People. How states react would then be a simple decision of choosing where to live with peace.
The current president of the Heritage Foundation, Leonard Leo, founded the Federalist Society, a conservative Libertarian organization with the US Constitution as their playbook: “…the principles that the state exists to preserve freedom, that the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution, and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it should be.” This last phrase is particularly powerful and would expunge every political patriot incarcerated via January 6th Committee.
Of course, the primary reason this overhaul is not shared by the liberal left is because they would lose their jobs. For example” the FBI employs 35,000 with a budget of roughly $10 billion. The Department of Education has a $88 billion budget for 3900 employees. NIH spends $50 billion fo
