Do the libertarians have a stance on not allowing felons to vote? It screams dystopic, but ive not heard one political group talk about it (so far).
AFAIK it is a state-to-state matter, yes. But…that shouldnt apply to federal level elections.
I mean, how many things were voted into existence that were once upon a time illegal? Think of the implications with gun laws and drug prohibition.
Edit: on the surface, it doesn’t seem so bad actually. Permanent revocation is the issue I’d care most about. I think there might be a case for the currently-imprisoned population, but good fucking luck having that topic not getting insta-tribalized.
