Rebel Ridge on Netflix: A Libertarian wet dream
Netflix just dropped an action movie featuring civil asset forfeiture and local government corruption as the main plot points. It currently has a 7.1 imdb rating and 95%/78% on Rotten Tomatoes. I don’t know how this one slipped through. I guess Hollywood saw a “cops bad” script and greenlit it. It’s not perfect, but we gotta take what we can get at this point. Spoiler: They go out of their way to make sure the tree of liberty is not watered, kind of broke suspension of disbelief a few times Anyway, it’s worth a watch.
