As Libertarians (swag), do you think a “town square” where people can voice their opinions and be heard is better or worse for your political desires?
Hi, If the answer seems like an obvious, “yes”, please say so. I’m not trying to be obnoxious. Just curious if it opens the doors for a deeper conversation about what happens when the majority public voice begins to diverge from your original political aspirations. In other words, what happens if your acceptance of providing a space for a representative democracy leads to a less libertarian government? Almost perhaps can think of it as a pure referendum-decided form of government. Would you support that? Are Libertarians fully supportive of providing the means and methods for every citizen to voice their opinions and be counted? submitted by /u/Fuzzy-3mu [link] [comments]
