Do you really want to end democracy?
I am not an expert on political ideologies and I’ve seen a lot of libertarians say they would prefer a constitutional monarchy over our current system. Is that true? I get that our current system is very flawed, but its biggest flaw is that it isnt a democracy, we just elect people based on their promises who end up doing what they want. I think the best system would be one with an unchangeable constitution that guarantees basic rights like property rights and the right to physical integrity, and where the laws are voted on directly by the people and important decisions like going to war are also voted on. submitted by /u/oniiEnj [link] [comments]
