Libertarian thoughts on UBI
I’ve been getting some comments on what I think about UBI in regards to my flair. In my view if a state is to exist than it has a duty to provide it’s citizens with basic capital (enough for food, water, and basic housing) if they desire it. I personally would not fully support UBI however unless individuals are able to opt out of receiving it, since I believe it is important for individuals to have the ability to not partake in any exchange of capital if they don’t feel like it, whether that capital is economic or social (yes, this includes taxes).
