Microstates and libertarianism. A positive correlation between the two?
So micro states tend to be much wealthier in terms of GDP per capita than nearby large states. Can we tie this somehow to libertarian politicis? Given how a small country cannot reasonably use protectionism, and other anti competitive measures as part of its economic policy, they are forced to be an open, economically libertarian country to stay competitive with the rest of the world despite its small size, so microstates tend to be more libertarian?
I live in Estonia which is bordering as a microstate so this does seem to make sense in a way.
