Let’s do some quick math on the $1.9 trillion stimulus bill…
So let’s do a little math here:
- Let’s assume, for sake of argument, that all 150 million taxpayers qualify for the stimulus checks.
- $1.9 trillion divided by 150 million = $12,667
The government spent months and $12,667 / person to give $1,400 back…with swaths and a significant proportion of the remaining money being funneled into ulterior agendas.
The only people who can justify and support such reckless government spending to counteract the damage caused by their own policies are the poster-children of demoralization. Every single taxpayer in this country could have had a $12,667 reduction in tax liability as a means of stimulating the economy for the same cost as giving some of them $1,400.
The $1,400 is just hush money for the sheep to not question all the hidden spending/agenda in the bill, which taxpayers will be paying back multiple times over…through not only taxation, but fiat devaluation/inflation.
[Please also note, the stimulus bills are extremely lengthy and impossible for somebody to read in the amount of time that they have to vote on it. Take a look at the spending bills yourself and the hundreds of pages of spending items unrelated to the pandemic. I personally think that anybody who works for the government and signs something that they do read should be removed from office…especially those representing the people and voting on the creation of and enforcement of bills/laws. These people get six-figure taxpayer-funded salaries, on top of massive taxpayer-funded benefits and any seedy money that they use their government position for to earn on the side. Approval rating of Congress – no matter which two ruling parties is in power – has been under 30% for the past decade. If you received under 30% performance rating at your job, would you be allow to keep your job? The top politicians in this country do…and you are paying their salaries.]
