Good book that illustrates the value of private property
I’m trying to write a personal statement for a university application and I need a suggestion on a book that argues for private property. Basically I’m saying that I read ‘On Liberty’ and while I agree with Mill in general I also feel that private land and assets are important to be protected under the law to maintain freedom and was wandering which book I could read and cite that would express that. I’m going between ‘The Road to Serfdom’ and ‘Capitalism and Freedom’. If you have any other suggestions I’d love to hear them but preferably not to put-there as I have to convince my parents to buy it. Thank you.
