Has anyone seen articles around the deadweight loss in the US vaccine distribution model?

Not to rant, but it is crazy to me that we are not even letting a small portion of vaccines go free market. I mean just auction off ten percent of them and use some of that money to fund these crazy stimulus packages.

Some people are on approved list don’t even want vaccines and some young well off people want to buy them.
