Thank you
I’ve been a republican for my whole life(I’m late 20s). Starting in 2016 I started to move away from the GOP because of Trump. That disgust for the GOP has only grown with the way they are handling this election.
Lately I’ve felt politically homeless because while I don’t like the GOP, I don’t agree with the Democrats on most things. But honestly this sub has been like a breath of fresh air. People actually call out politicians on both sides. Discuss things with civility. They don’t defend people just because they are on their “side.”
I haven’t been very active on this sub. Hopefully that will change. But it’s just nice seeing that there are still conservative people who believe in democracy and freedom. I may even support the Libertarian party for the next few cycles. I think there is a really great opportunity to move towards a multi-party system here in the United States.
Thank you for being a good place to talk politics.
