Should a small Libertarian society be able to limit international trade in any way?
My question is whether a Libertarian government could limit free-trade in any way. What if a fictive small government Libertarian USA wanted to put sanctions on the CCP.
When we are talking about the more than a million civilians in Western China. The Uyghers who have been uprooted and driven into the most vile state apparatus. People whose identity and culture is slowly being destroyed in concentration camps.
Would you be in favour that a Libertarian government allow business to be done with such a country? If you were to allow free trade which such a society, wouldn’t you just give them the means to oppression?
Wouldn’t a free libertarian society just help keep authoritarian societies alive by trading with them?
