Being a libertarian is being lost on some you wanna-be cowboys. Here’s a good rant I left on someone’s post making fun of people using the governments benefits.
Libertarian doesn’t mean you can’t take care of your community. Y’all need to hop off reddit for a bit and try to go meet your neighbors. The best part about being libertarian, is that YOU provide what you need for you, and I love that philosophy. But I’m sorry y’all, it doesn’t always work like that. What you REALLY mean is YOU want to be in charge of what happens to your family (and friends if you have any), not the government. So, if you’re so god damn tired of people having children and then needing to take benefits, then do more for YOUR community rather than let the government do it FOR you. Because they will. If you own a business or have the ability, increase your workers wage a little, give a meal to that smelly homeless guy, help out struggling families when you see one, help out your family and friends who are struggling instead of making them feel bad, it doesn’t have to make you bankrupt, you don’t have to give someone everything, but you’re gonna be the worst libertarian there has ever been if YOU can’t take care of some of the individuals around you. It’s how humans work whether you like it or not. And being such a fucking cunt like this makes me think someone is actually taking care of you. Politics is a pendulum, and any fucking adult knows that. Neither candidate will take up more than 8 years of your life, and if you’re a REAL libertarian, you’re prepared for any government crackdown, regardless of political affiliation. We have to stop this fucking non sense and be real with each other.
