New to politics
So this election is probably the first election where I’ve finally broken free of my parents conservative beliefs and started to form my own opinions and political ideas. I used to believe I was a middle of the road conservative but after looking into it more and doing my own self evaluation I’ve learned that my political beliefs fall more in line with libertarianism. So my question for people who know more about this stuff than me. Why is libertarianism not more mainstream?? How can people actually believe the government having more control over their lives is a good thing?
