A liberals perspective of this sub
Libertarianism has always appealed to me philosophically and it still does. However, I have felt and still do that libertarianism is not a functional basis for running a government in this century. I truly believe that government can be a great force for good.
This being said, you people are fucking awesome. There is no political community with a more consistent adherence to their principles than libertarians. I see this not just online, but amongst the public.
I trust the sub and the members of it to always argue in good faith. This is something our two major parties are lacking. I trust this sub and the members of it to call out injustice, tyranny, and corruption every time no matter who is involved in it.
I have been inspired to help with the campaign for Justin Amash, my congressional representative, not because I agree with his policies but because i can trust that he is who he says he is. Thank you for fighting the good fight.
