In what countries is the libertarian movement growing?

First off, forgive me for being an imperialist American pig. 🙂 . In what countries other than the US are people applying libertarian ideals to living and elections? In real life conversations with Canadians and UK subjects I’ve gathered it’s more difficult for them due to more powerful central governments. With the UK it seems they’ve been conditioned since an early age to rely on the government for so many services, it’s almost impossible to unshackle. How about the rest of the world? Is libertarianism being discussed and applied by the citizenry?
