Why are non libertarians so blind to their own flavor of tyranny?
For example, the left always talk about their empathy and acceptance of others but the things I see on those leftist channels is so much to the contrary.
Recently I have seen someone posting a picture of their neighbors wifi name (it said let’s go brandon) and several comments (heavily upvoted) we’re suggesting ways to bring down their home wifi and deny them service.
I also saw a post today about a sticker on a car they didn’t like (lgbt = liberty, guns, beer, trump) and much conversation was about ways they could/should deface the owners vehicle.
My point is, as a libertarian it’s very easy to say, yeah they are allowed to think what they want even if I disagree. But these people think their disapproval of someone’s expression entitles them to destruction. And they don’t see how that is much worse.
I am not here to bash liberals. (The same stuff applies to the right.) I want to open their eyes to their own blindspots. How do we do that?
