Are there repercussions for jury nullification?
During jury selection if they ask,
“Would you be able to follow the law as the judge explains it even if you disagreed with it…”
And other similar questions. If you go along with all their questions and seem like a perfect juror, but then you vote not guilty on account of some bogus law (when the defendant is clearly guilty), can the court somehow retaliate against you for leading them one way, then deciding a different way?
