Murray Rothbard
Hi everyone. I am quite interested in Austrian economics, and stumbled across the so-called founder of anarcho-capitalism called Murray Rothbard. I am not well-read with regards to libertarian literature, so I thought I would ask about him here.
Some brief research online seems to indicate that he was a racist who opposed the civil rights movement, and maybe even a self-hating Jew. All his involvement in politics seems pretty extreme.
I am wondering what the average well-read libertarian thinks of Rothbard. Is he someone you respect who is worth reading, or an extremist?
Thank you.
