Why don’t you all leverage the votes that you have against the major parties?
Elections are getting closer and closer.
This demonstrates that both major parties are essentially burning out on the resources that they are willing to spend on elections, but more than that, it means that the margin of win in these elections are disgustingly, historically low.
In many elections, in many areas, there are more people who vote third party or who are otherwise anti two party, than the difference in votes between the winning major party, and the losing major party.
This means that if you worked together, a united third-party front could trade its collective influence in exchange for certain policies, or even political resources and maybe even flat-out cash if done correctly.
So why don’t you?
I understand why PARTY representatives don’t, they’d likely make less of a splash personally with the power actually directly in the people’s hands, but why don’t the people get together and do it?
What is the missing motivational or logistic factor stopping you?
