Some Numbers

Reading some of Doug Casey’s International Man emails. In one, I read, it took ~200 years to create $6 trillion. Then, just several months to create another $6T.

The US Govt is over $30T in debt. Checking https://usdebtclock.org/.

President Andrew Jackson was the first and only president to pay off the national debt completely. And that was in 1835.

So, I’m thinking, that’s like every president being given an “unlimited-use” credit card, and thinking, not my problem, “the next president will take of it.”

Do I have this right?
