What do you think of the Sovereign Citizen movement? Is it in any way libertarian?
I agree some points of the sovereign citizen movement. Some of it is very anarchist in a way, with members of the movement being against the government and very anti-taxation.
Where if falls apart for me is that they believe the only laws that apply to them are their own interpretations of common law, or the pieces of “natural law” that they pick and choose.
I also see Sovereign Citizens resorting to violence as a means to an end, which I feel is incompatible with the NAP.
