Removal of Political Parties

Alright boys, girls and everyone else in the between; pick up your joints and let’s hash this thought experiment out.

A lot of the times I hear people tell me “I would like to vote Libertarian, but politics is about who is most popular and those that are “most popular” are D/R so L’s will never win.”

So how about we create a solution to stopping people from voting D/R across the board by “forcing” people to actually do their research towards candidates. I know, I know. “BUT OP! WE DONT FORCE PEOPLE TO DO THING! That’s the whole point about being an L!” But how about this, we just get rid of the political parties and force the candidates to actually compete against each other instead competing against the opposite party. Especially considering most people just vote D/R across the board without actually caring. This way, it’ll have people actually who hold more libertarian views actually give libertarian-esk candidates a chance.
