old intelligent people don’t participate in social media because

they are tired of dealing with the repeated stupidity of each new generation. they learned their life lessons decades ago and have lost patience with, and faith in, future generations. they “lose touch” with the young and proud idiots on purpose.

if you are intelligent then you will seek the “old white men” who run the world’s industry and learn from them with humility. i don’t mean you should seek c.e.o of major corporations, lawyers, professors nor clergy. i mean you should seek the people who actually make things work: scientists, engineers, architects, programmers, novelists, producers, mathematicians, statisticians and especially multidisciplinary integrators.

there are others you should seek in normal times but in these abnormal times, some jobs (like doctor) have become so politicized that the good ones are too smart to be caught speaking the truth.

if you are dumb you will seek to be ruled by politicians/clergy or to be indoctrinated by professors/clergy instead because they speak well.

c.e.o, politicians and popular clergy are generally people who are successful manipulators and fraudsters. you cannot trust these people to teach you anything except how to become their useful idiots.
