Libertarian Newbie!

Hello everyone my name is Trevon I am black American from Washington,dc. I have joined this reddit because i want to learn more about libertarianism, An little background on me all my life i was forced to support the democratic party like most of us i hope, but all my life i didn’t feel like an democrat i mean i care about liberty like all people and want equal rights and social rights for anybody, However i do not support the democrats and l for historical and moral reason me being an black that’sAmerican that is, but i always felt like an leftist but not like the democrats because they are no better than the republicans,

Also, i would like to point out I’m not that really keen into politics in general but i consider myself an American Patriot and i cae rnot about the united states regardless if its good, bad and ugly this is still my country that i wanna protect but our current two party system needs to go because its not working choosing between only democrats and republicans is like choosing between devil and satan, well anyway i hope to make a lot of friends on this reddit and learn a lot about this movement.
