Disney: the anti-liberty company, responsible for extending length of copyright law protections over and over

No one deserves corporate welfare. About time Disney stopped being the puppet master pulling the strings of Big Government politicians.

Disney is single handedly responsible for decades of extensions to copyright protections, keeping works of long dead authors out of the public domain. Copyright protections were created to protect authors. Not to make a permanent barrier against free public use, and prevent free copying of public domain works forever.

The idea that the length of copyright should exceed the length of time protection is available to patents – which take far greater effort – is pure abuse of power by Disney and the worthless heirs mooching off one man’s work.
