I’ll be frank – it’s been really hard to think like a libertarian given the crisis.
Maybe it’s that we already have this system of government, this expectation that someone can swoop in and make things right. But between the failures of business in good times, the mass unemployment, and most importantly the desperate need to take drastic measures to protect vulnerable populations, it’s hard to imagine full-on libertarianism working in any sort of global crisis.
I don’t think we’re gonna have a strong draw come election day.
