When the powers that be started banning lots of posts and people for what politics they advocate, what groups they’re a member of, and what they believe or disbelieve, any claim of legitimacy of their authority over the internet was lost. From then on internet should bypass that so-called authority
Opensource peer to peer software is already sovereign, in some ways but not others. Each of them is a mostly independent system that people can use if they want to. Such as IPFS, bittorrent, ethereum, cryptocurrencies, and generally anything that doesnt need to be managed by a third party. We should do more of that and less of the things that allow a third party to ban any 2 people from voluntarily interacting with eachother.
