Do any other “Right-Leaning Libertarians” deal with this?

Whenever I discuss capital punishment with a Republican, they dissociate. They can’t compute a free-market capitalist like me who is opposed to the death penalty. Eventually they’ll twist my words into “Okay, so you’d be in favor of it if you could be certain of everyone’s guilt.” And that ends the conversation, with their worldview intact and my blasphemy rehabilitated – falsely.
