All libertarians should take the vaccine.
With freedom comes responsibility.
Libertarians aren’t bad people, obviously. They don’t want poverty, or people to suffer, at least I don’t. They just don’t think it’s the role of the government to take responsibility over every single aspect of every single individual’s well being. Therefore, IMO it’s up to the individual to create the best life for them self, as well as helping people who need it around you after your best needs. And the corperations have to make sure that they don’t exploit their workers and other stakeholders, so that there isnt even a need for a strong oppressing government at all.
How I see it, this responsiility is the price of a truly free society, without taxes and without government intervention. Because we DO want the society to work, and be a good place for as many people as possible. This is at least how I think of libertarianism. This may not be some cold, hard, right wing ableist libertarianism, so I realize I might get a lot of shit from the republican “libertarians”, who care more about guns than really anything else..
Anyways, therefore I think libertarians, especcialy should take the vaccine. Because it’s whats best for everyone, and people looking after each other, and thinking on a bigger scale than just ourselves, is the kind of responsibility-taking we need to incorperate as positive behaviour for individuals, to make a society work without taxes and government interference.
(Obviously I am very, very strongly opposed to mandatory vaccination, and all other crazy communist super-authorotarian society restrictions in conjunction with Covid.. And that’s the exact reason why I think we should do it by our own will.)
