How can you be a libertarian and want the government to mandate a private business?
Was commenting on a sub earlier, and said a business shouldn’t be forced to give a person a break. Just my opinion. And some guy says he’s a libertarian too, but that I sound like a capitalist because I value money more than a persons individual freedom to a break and that the government should mandate breaks. I’m genuinely curious to how wanting government overreach into a private business is a libertarian policy, and how saying a business owners right is to make their own policy as they see fit is being a capitalist? And I’m not saying I think no breaks is cool. It’s actually shitty, but it’s your right. What’s your guys opinion?
TL;DR should a business be forced by the government to allow employees breaks or be able to set their own rules
