Regardless of the Rittenhouse verdict, will you accept the jury’s decision?
Personally, I haven’t been following the case that closely, because it doesn’t interest me. Though this sub has been inundated with posts about it every day for weeks, so there are obviously a lot of people here who think it’s currently one of the most pressing and relevant events in Libertarianism. I can accept that (even though I find the repeat coverage hella annoying).
But my question, regardless of where you personally stand: will you accept the outcome as valid? Will you be able to concede that the jury is very likely more informed of all the facts, evidence, and legal arguments than any outside observer (eg, you) could be? Or will you find an excuse to de-legitimize the who process if you disagree with the outcome?
