Question re: regulations on corporations/big business.
I’m confused on the Libertarian thought on regulations regarding companies and how that sits with people here. I recognize the fact there may be differing opinions, but I am genuinely curious about this particular area, since it’s often an area that Libertarians are criticized on.
I ask because I’m not too familiar with all the stances but I am very pro libertarian when it comes to govt interference and personal living, but when in infringes upon others, that’s where I think I may get hung up.
So for example, republicans will often deregulate particular aspects of laws or requirements for companies that are in the agriculture and food industry, perhaps energy fields as well, and it’s usually argued that certain regulations affect the bottom line for profits, maybe at the expense of polluting the land, air, water, whatever…
Sorry if I’m not being too clear, but this is my general question/concern.
