Apparently in a lot of places in the US it’s illegal to camp for extended periods on your own private land. It’s really treading on my snake.
What the fuck. I just want a piece of land in the woods somewhere that I can put an RV on and use as a home base, but I recently learned that you can not in fact do that, Klamath county Oregon is a particularly egregious example with a permit being required for anything over 7 days and only 21 days allowed every 6 months
It’s absurd, if you own acres of land you should be entitled to occupy it as often as you desire.
I am curious what exactly happens to you if you break this rule though. If that’s your residence can they really just evict you like that?
