Milton Friedman suggested the proper way for government to deal with eco regulation was through taxing consumption and output, not outright regulation and expansion of the bureaucracy. Could he have ever envisioned our current climate hysteria? We went from debating policy regarding clean air/water, to mainstream climate fear mongering (apocalyptic weather changes). Are we permanently fucked? Will income taxes ever drop below where they are again?
