Libertarian parents. Do your political views affect the way you govern your children? Particularly when the reach late mid and late teens?
I’m am a volunteer youth helper and it infuriates me when parents try to lock down their kids like tyrants. Especially when they get to 16 years old and have some autonomy. I have no kids of my own yet but can’t help but think giving some freedom and allowance for them to make their own mistakes would be much better than having them hate you for grounding them over staying out 10 minutes past curfew which I see all too often.
