There is no argument against taxation that isn’t equally if not more applicable to labour value expropriation.
To the uninitiated, labour value expropriation is when you perform labour for a private property owner and you get paid less than the value you create. The owner earning money on the labour you performed.
To that you might say “oh but its okay because it is voluntary to work but the state forces you to pay taxes!!”
This is an inconsistent and incoherent argument.
If you do not work you do not have to pay taxes, you also have to live in the street and turn to crime or begging to feed yourself. So paying taxes is not done at the point of a gun, it is forced on you as a price you are forced to pay if you want to access any standard of life that isn’t just barely scraping by.
This is coercive, but it is not “at the point of a gun”
But this also is directly applicable to labour value expropriation, for you have no choice but to work lest you want to live in the same horrendous conditions mentioned earlier. You HAVE TO sell your labour, you either submit to having the fruits of your labour taken from you or you live on the street in the exact same conditions as if you did not pay taxes.
In both cases a decent living is locked behind servitude to someone else, and in both cases someone is taking away the money you created without you having much of a say.
