Lost Support For Universal or Single Payer Health Care
I have always been staunchly against any kind of Universal or Single Payer health care systems. Especially ones that wouldn’t leave a private option. In the last election I supported Tulsi Gabbard and was getting more and more onboard with that kind of system. When COVID started I was really leaning towards supporting it because COVID really sorta showed the weakness in our current system. Alot of people were hurting.
All this pushing vaccine mandates from the government and peoples eagerness to just welcome authoritarianism has me out on the idea. I will never support that kind of system again. I never want any of these people in charge of my healthcare. You have people openly and proudly advocating for doctors and hospitals to turn away ” non vaxxed” people. The day is here where someone could be wheeled into a hospital with a life threatening injury and turned away because they don’t have COVID papers. See the 70 doctors who just today proudly walked out in protest because they were pissed patients weren’t vaccinated. One side has stopped viewing the other side as human beings, and they want to be in charge of our healthcare with a Universal System. Nope. Ill pass on that.
I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. You attract more flies with honey than vinegar.
This whole thing makes me sad.
