Are the citizens of some European countries/ex-colonies more subservient due to their long histories as monarchies?
I was reading a post on r/worldnews about an Australian man who was imprisoned for 3 months for protesting in violation of “lockdown” orders. What’s interesting is all the self identified Australians who applauded it. I know the former colonies of New Zealand & Australia and Canada still keep the Queen as their head of state. I wonder if this speaks to an inbred subsidence.
