Coercion of wealth isn’t libertarian.
Regardless of whatever moral gymnastics you do there is never a scenario in which coercing wealth from a person is libertarian. The collection of wealth by the state ideally must be done voluntarily and avoided whenever possible. The existence of standing armies and government institutions are not examples of violations of these principles but rather a necessary evil within the current global socioeconomic context and we should be working towards their dismantling or at least their reduction. A human being should not be born into this world with the pressure to finance the economic burden created by people who are dead or soon to be dead. If you fancy yourself a “libertarian socialists” understand that this can only happen voluntarily and that forcing people into social economic contracts is a violation of NAP and worst makes you a tyrant.
