Political Parties (America)

I’ve been thinking about this a lot, and what is your opinion on the best transition from bipartisanship to no party system that our country(USA) can take peacefully? What are general thoughts of partisanship and libertarianism? Should parties be allowed? What are pros and cons of a no party system? I’m genuinely curious
